　　这些日子里，华裔学生孔庆翔横空出世一炮而红，一夜间竟成为全美青少年模仿的对象，俘虏了万千少女的芳心。

　　当21岁的孔庆翔出现在《美国偶像》时，很多人觉得可笑。这个龅牙的香港小伙子居然穿了一件蓝色夏威夷衬衫加黑色西装裤，外加一个看上去像锅盖的老土发型蛋挞头，整个形象与时下最受瞩目的歌唱比赛格格不入，他好像根本不是来参加歌唱比赛的，而更像个令人笑爆肚的小丑。孔庆翔选择了拉丁歌王Ricky Martin的性感快歌《She Bangs》作为参赛曲目，他刚一开口，许多在电视机前观看这个节目的观众都差点从椅子上掉了下来：他不仅五音不全，而且台风相当滑稽，马丁诱人的摇臀动作变成了机械式的木偶摆动，台下3位评委似乎顿时被折磨得不成人形。

　　孔庆翔本应在一片笑骂声中，灰溜溜地下台。一句话却改写了他的星途。以尖酸出名的西蒙克劳威尔评委终于无法忍受，他粗暴地打断孔庆翔，并刻薄批评道：“你不会唱、你不会跳，你还有什么话说？”正当观众都以为孔庆翔会羞愧得脱逃时，他却勇敢地回应：“我已尽力而为，我对此无悔。”虽然知道自己已成为笑柄，但孔庆翔却丝毫不介意，还很有礼貌地答谢了评委，然后才拿起自己黄色的背包，不慌不忙地走出摄影棚。孔庆翔，最终以他的勇气、憨直、风度，赢得意外的全场掌声。

　　节目播出之后，孔庆翔受到了前所未有的关注。美国、新加坡、澳洲、冰岛等凡是能够收看到这个节目的国家和地区，电视台与电台都在不断重复播放孔庆翔当晚的演唱，他更赢得了香港“Ricky Martin”的美誉。一夜之间，孔庆翔成为引人瞩目的人物，美国主流媒体《洛杉矶时报》、《人物》杂志及电视娱乐节目《今夜娱乐》纷纷找孔庆翔做专访，还有电视台希望他上节目表演。更有牙科诊所站出来表示愿意免费为他进行牙齿矫形，紧随其后的还有牙齿保健产品商希望能够和孔庆翔商谈广告合约。

　　而孔庆翔的处男大碟《Inspiration》已经抢闸推出。新碟除了收录他翻唱Ricky Martin名作《She Bangs》及《Shake your Bon Bon》之外，还有Elton John的《Rocket Man》及R.Kelly的《I Believe I Can Fly》等，值得留意的是新歌《Free》--“这是作曲人特别为我度身订做的好歌”。

香港出身，近期在美国红得发紫的走音歌王孔庆祥，六月将回香港宣传，不过，相较于他在美国走红的程度，香港乐坛却发出不一样的声音，歌手梁汉文感叹孔庆祥是小丑，如果他的唱片在香港畅销，那就是香港的悲哀。
　　梁汉文日前担任香港”大专联校歌唱比赛”压轴表演嘉宾，谈到最近在美国大红大紫的香港人孔庆祥时，他觉得同样身为香港人，他一点也不觉得高兴，反而认为孔庆祥在舞台上，唱出荒腔走板的歌声，惹得大家发笑，简直就像小丑一样，他说：”我们同样流着中国人的血，这真的不是一件光荣的事。”
