有段日子没碰到让人眼睛一亮的新队了，(其实亦不新，以前不
知道而已)。芬兰的Wyrd，风格类似Empyrium，连封面都象极。
非常舒服的慢版民谣金属，流畅质朴；即有北欧人共有的雄浑，
又有芬兰人独具的隽永。

维京神话中有一颗生命之树Yggdrasil，Wyrd是供养该树的三
口井之一，由掌管命运的Norn三姐妹看守..... 后来古英语中
的weird一词就来源于此，如麦克白斯中的weird witches。

专辑"Huldrafolk",2002年Millenium Music出版，只印了900
张。Huldra是传说中山林女精灵，能歌善舞，美丽多情, 但是
... with a hollow back and a tail。
